CranioSacral Therapy:

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance to alleviate a range of sensory, motor or neurological disorders, balancing the whole body.  CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

The Brain Speaks:

The structures and interacting areas of the limbic system are involved in motivation, emotion, learning, and memory.  The limbic system operates by influencing the endocrine system and the autonomic nervous system.

Balancing the cranial bones have as much influence over the body’s ability to function properly as the brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system – the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord.

Focusing on Concussions, TBI’s, Stroke, Palsy, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, Migraines & H/A, Alzheimer’s/ Dementia  Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s to name a few

Neural Manipulation:

The neural manipulation (NM) is involved in all body functions and without neural control certain visceral activity cannot be maintained. The stimulation of nerves is processed centrally and reported back to the body as feedback.

A nerve only functions correctly when it is able to move freely within its surrounding structures.  The modality of NM facilitates nerve conductivity and intraneural blood supply for local and systemic responsiveness.  By understanding the detailed anatomy of the NM, one can clearly see the potential for pathological change when nerves are restricted.

Visceral Manipulation:

Visceral Manipulation (VM) assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic dysfunction.  Balancing abdominal organs to allows greater range of motion and improved digestive function.  VM increases proprioceptive (which is, perception or awareness of the position and movement of the body) communication within the body, thereby revitalizing a person and relieving symptoms of pain, dysfunction, and poor posture.

Working within the body’s rhythmic visceral system to locate & alleviate abnormal points of tension throughout the body improving over-all function of each organ & the systems in which they function.

Lymphatic Drainage:

Lymphatic Drainage is a manual technique that is effective for relieving the build-up of fluid in the Lymphatic system, hence, restoring it to its natural function which is an essential part of immunity. Pre & Post surgery, Sports Injury & Immunity / Detox

Somato-Emotional Release:

Somato-Emotional Release may occur during a session which can be gently releasing emotionally charged energy.  Energy that which is held in what is known as an “energy cyst” from connective tissue as a result of physical or emotional trauma.

Advanced training in Somato Emotional Release – Neural Release Techniques & Myofascial Unwinding
